Qualifications

Overview

AtkinsRéalis are currently looking for experienced Quantity Surveyors (Pre Contract) to join our team to work on newly awarded projects across varying sectors and various locations within UAE. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team on high profile projects within in UAE.

Your role
  • Excellent proficiency in Cost X and measurement tools.
  • Strong experience with various types of assets, including understanding design documents, different trades, measurement, preparing estimates, pricing, and reporting.
  • Solid understanding of measurement and cost planning standards.
  • Clear communication skills with the team.
  • Client-facing and interaction capabilities.
  • Experience in benchmarking.

Pre Contract

Feasibility studies, concept, schematic, and detailed design cost planning and estimating. Preparation of Bills of Quantities and Pre-Tender Estimates. Value engineering, monthly cost reports, tender services including the preparation of Instructions to Tenderers, Appendix to Tender, Particular Conditions, tender analysis, negotiations, and recommendations. Contract document preparation, attendance at design and commercial meetings, and other related activities.

About you
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying from recognised university.
  • Min 6 years post‑degree relevant experience in contracts and commercial management.
  • Experience in one of the following key sectors: hospitality, residential, buildings, infrastructure etc.
  • Must have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 4 years.
  • Knowledge in the use of QS software Cost X or similar is required.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
