Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in quantity surveying with proven experience in the UAE construction market, especially in residential or high-rise projects. Responsibilities include cost estimates, contract management, and client liaison. Position: Quantity Surveyor (QS)

Location: Dubai, UAE

Monthly Salary: AED 10,000 - AED 15,000 (Negotiable based on experience and qualifications).

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team for a major residential building project in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in quantity surveying, with specific experience in the UAE construction market, particularly in residential or high-rise building projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and provide cost planning advice.
  • Handle contract management, including variations, valuations, and interim payments.
  • Perform material and site measurements, and manage subcontractor accounts.
  • Ensure accurate cost control and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on commercial matters.
  • Prepare and agree on final accounts.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of proven experience as a QS especially in UAE or GCC.
  • Must have direct experience on residential building projects in Dubai/UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of local construction practices, contracts, and market rates.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and QS software (e.g., Cost X, Auto CAD).
