Responsibilities

As a Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for preparing tender and contract documents including Bills of Quantities (BOQ) in coordination with the architect and or client. You will price all variations in accordance with contract terms and project changes, issue monthly valuation reports and progress payment applications, assist in cost planning, budgeting and financial control of projects, ensure that all measurements, quantities and valuations are accurate and well documented, and liaise with project managers, site teams, consultants and clients to support commercial and contractual matters.

Qualifications

Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction and engineering sector; UAE experience preferred. Strong understanding of tendering contracts, BOQs and valuation procedures. Proficiency in MS Office and QS estimation software. Excellent numerical, analytical and reporting skills. Strong communication and coordination skills. Ability to work within deadlines and support multiple projects.
