Job Title - Quantity Surveyor

About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage all cost-related aspects of construction projects, ensuring effective cost control, accurate budgeting, and timely financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Planning & Estimation
    • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQs).
    • Analyze drawings, specifications, and contract documents to determine project costs.
    • Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
  • Contract & Commercial Management
    • Assist in preparation, review, and administration of contracts and subcontracts.
    • Evaluate variations, claims, and change orders in coordination with project teams.
    • Support negotiation and finalization of contractor and supplier agreements.
  • Procurement & Payments
    • Coordinate with procurement teams for material pricing and supplier evaluations.
    • Review and certify interim and final payment applications.
    • Track commitments, variations, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Project Cost Control & Reporting
    • Maintain accurate cost records and financial reports.
    • Prepare monthly cost reports highlighting budget status and variances.
    • Provide commercial insights and recommendations to support project decisions.
  • Coordination & Compliance
    • Liaise with engineers, consultants, and site teams to ensure commercial alignment.
    • Ensure compliance with contractual terms, company policies, and industry standards.
    • Support project close-out activities and final account settlements.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in construction and engineering projects.
  • Strong knowledge of BOQs, cost estimation, and contract administration.
  • Experience with residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects preferred.
