Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality & Sustainability Manager to join our team in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing quality management systems and sustainability initiatives across our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise and leadership skills to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Develop and implement comprehensive quality management and sustainability strategies aligned with organizational goals
• Lead and manage quality control processes, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices
• Spearhead sustainability initiatives, focusing on reducing environmental impact and promoting resource efficiency
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement in quality and sustainability performance
• Analyze data and prepare detailed reports on quality metrics and sustainability indicators
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality and sustainability practices into all aspects of operations
• Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on quality management and sustainability principles
• Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant environmental regulations and standards
• Implement and maintain environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001)
• Identify and mitigate potential risks related to quality and sustainability
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in quality management and sustainability

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality management and sustainability roles, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings
• Proven expertise in implementing and managing quality management systems and sustainability initiatives
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and project management
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in quality management and environmental management software systems
• Professional certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or LEED AP are highly desirable
• Demonstrated knowledge of sustainable business practices and their implementation in corporate settings
• Experience in risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to quality and sustainability
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously
