Job summary

A global energy services company based in Dubai is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform inspections of incoming materials and parts. The role includes preparing Non-Conformance Reports and maintaining various documentation while coordinating calibration of test equipment. Candidates must have a relevant engineering degree and 3-4 years of experience in the engineering field, alongside strong communication and analytical skills. Knowledge of measuring tools and experience in warehouse operations are essential.

Qualifications

Job Description

Job Summary.

Perform inspections of incoming materials, parts including visual, and dimensional checks making necessary observations, tests, or as required. Including but not limited to warehouse operations complying with company HSE policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform inspections of parts at warehouse as required per NOV procedure and specifications.
  • Prepare and coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s) for nonconforming parts - entry into NOV Portal (Intelex)
  • Maintain all controlled document files/ inspection records as required.
  • Coordinate calibration of all test equipment and fixtures.
  • Monitor critical parts to ensure proper storage.
  • Assist in the updating inspection procedures/checklists as required.
  • Work with Houston spares / Production and Quality Assurance to provide feedback for continual improvement.
  • Assisting supervisor in a day-to-day QC & Warehouse Operations activity
  • Perform all other warehouse related tasks as assigned including but not limited to supervision of daily warehouse operations as well as maintain proper housekeeping.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

  • Engineering Degree / Diploma / 2 years’ experience in handling similar function.
  • Experience: Min 3-4 years of experience in engineering field.
  • Basic computer skills & experience.
  • Fluent in oral and written English language.
  • 4 years’ experience.
  • Knowledge of all measuring tools.
  • Visual/Dimensional Inspections.
  • Warehouse/ Shop experience.
