Job summary

Petrofac is seeking a Mechanical QC Inspector for their Abu Dhabi location. The successful candidate will ensure mechanical inspections and quality control of static and rotating equipment, requiring a thorough understanding of international codes and standards.

A diploma in Mechanical Engineering is essential, along with at least 7 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. This role supports a hybrid work model, requiring site presence at least three days a week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ experience as Mechanical QC Inspector.
• Experience in oil & gas/petrochemical industry.
• Experience with major EPC contractor or their subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Carry out receiving inspection for mechanical equipment delivered to site.
• Check material laydown and warehouse areas for proper storage.
• Ensure equipment foundations are released by Civil QC Inspector.
• Review of equipment certification and documentation to ensure validity.
• Facilitate inspection of mechanical jobs at project site by client.
• Witness various inspections and tests related to mechanical jobs.
