Job summary

EDGE Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a Quality Support role within its assembly and inspection teams. You will assist with basic visual inspections, verify components, and report quality concerns to supervisors, contributing to safe and quality-focused production.

We welcome 0–2 years of experience, follow work instructions, and help drive continuous improvement while adhering to ISO 9001 standards and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in assembly, production, manufacturing, warehouse, or quality support roles.
• Ability to follow work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to identify visible defects and quality concerns.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, checklists, and quality requirements.
• Basic computer literacy and record-keeping skills desirable.
• Ability to work safely in a production, workshop, or operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly of products according to approved work instructions and specifications.
• Verify that components and materials are correct before assembly activities begin.
• Ensure assembled products meet basic quality and workmanship requirements.
• Support production teams in maintaining assembly accuracy and consistency.
• Perform basic visual inspections of products, components, and materials.
• Identify obvious defects, damage, missing parts, or non-conforming conditions.
• Separate defective items from acceptable products as instructed.
• Report inspection findings to Quality Technicians or Supervisors.
• Assist with product verification activities during assembly and packaging processes.
• Ensure products are properly labeled, identified, and handled.
• Support final quality checks before products are released or shipped.
• Maintain product traceability as required by company procedures.
• Follow established quality procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
• Comply with company quality standards and operational policies.
• Support implementation of quality control measures within the work area.
• Participate in quality and safety briefings when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the work area.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are stored appropriately.
• Support housekeeping initiatives to promote efficiency and safety.
• Report damaged tools, equipment, or unsafe conditions.
• Work collaboratively with Production Operators, Quality Technicians, and Supervisors.
• Assist in meeting production and quality targets.
• Support rework, sorting, and containment activities when quality issues arise.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and team meetings.
