Job summary

Wipro is seeking a Quality Engineer in Dubai to lead test automation initiatives across UI, API, and performance testing. The role emphasizes building scalable automation frameworks and strong CI/CD practices to speed up delivery.

The candidate should be proficient in Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, SpringBoot and have experience with Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Postman, JMeter, and k6. Dubai location preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in test automation across UI, API, and performance testing.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript with SpringBoot.
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and Azure DevOps.
• Cloud experience with AWS; containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong API and performance testing using Postman, JMeter, and k6.
• Ability to implement API, contract, integration, and microservices testing.
• Define and implement test architecture, automation standards, and QE best practices.
• Design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for UI, API, backend, and end-to-end testing.
• Build and optimize CI/CD and continuous testing pipelines to accelerate releases.
• Event-driven knowledge (Solace, Kafka) and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement test automation strategies for multiple products.
• Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend tests.
• Drive CI/CD and continuous testing pipelines to improve release velocity.
• Evaluate and adopt AI/GenAI tools for QE acceleration and quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and development teams to ensure quality across platforms.
