TUV Rheinland Middle East LLC seeks an experienced Quality E&I Inspector for a short-term oil and gas pipeline project in Abu Dhabi. The role covers electrical and instrumentation inspection, cathodic protection systems, and COMPEX-related inspection requirements; joining immediately on project site.

The ideal candidate has hands-on QA/QC experience in cross-country pipeline projects, is familiar with ITPs, inspection checklists, and client specifications, and can coordinate with construction,

Qualificações

• Experience in quality inspection within Oil & Gas projects.
• Hands-on inspection of electrical and instrumentation installations.
• Familiar with ITPs, inspection procedures and project specs.

Responsabilidades

• Perform QA/QC for E&I works on Oil & Gas and cross-country pipelines.
• Inspect CP systems including testing and commissioning as applicable.
• Review ITPs, method statements and inspection checklists.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, codes and client requirements.
• Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, commissioning and client teams.
• Identify non-conformities and prepare corrective action reports.
• Verify inspection records and quality dossiers before handover.
• Adhere to hazardous-area requirements and COMPEX where relevant.

Job DescriptionWe are urgently looking for an experienced Quality E&I Inspector for a short-term Oil & Gas project involving cross-country pipeline activities, Cathodic Protection (CP) systems and COMPEX-related inspection requirements.The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in quality inspection, electrical and instrumentation activities, pipeline projects, and Cathodic Protection systems, along with knowledge of applicable project specifications, quality standards and inspection procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Quality Inspection and Quality Assurance (QA/QC) activities for Electrical & Instrumentation works associated with Oil & Gas and cross-country pipeline projects.
• Inspect and verify Cathodic Protection (CP) systems, including installation, testing and commissioning activities, as applicable to the project scope.
• Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, inspection checklists and quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable codes and client requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and verify installation quality of electrical and instrumentation equipment, cables, instruments and associated systems.
• Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, commissioning and client inspection teams.
• Identify non-conformities, prepare inspection reports and follow up on corrective actions.
• Verify inspection records, test reports and quality dossiers before project handover.
• Ensure compliance with applicable hazardous-area requirements and COMPEX competency requirements, where relevant to the assigned scope.

Candidate Requirements

• Relevant experience as a Quality E&I Inspector in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Hands-on experience with cross-country pipeline projects and Cathodic Protection systems.
• Relevant COMPEX qualification/certification or competency, as required by the project.
• Good understanding of E&I inspection procedures, quality standards, ITPs and project specifications.
• Experience in site inspection, testing, documentation and coordination with client representatives.
• Ability to join immediately and work on a short-term contract assignment.
