Job summary

Cenorion is building a scalable technology platform for device financing and lifecycle management in Dubai. We are seeking a hands-on QA Engineer who can own quality across the platform and the devices it controls, collaborating with backend, frontend, mobile, DevOps, architecture, product and security teams.

You will define test strategy, drive automation in CI/CD, and perform API, integration, mobile and performance testing to ensure release readiness for our SaaS offering in FinTech.

Qualifications

• Hands-on QA experience testing production software systems.
• Experience with SaaS or customer-facing platforms preferred.
• Familiarity with API testing and automation tools.
• Knowledge of fintech, telecom, or device-management contexts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategy, plans and coverage across the platform.
• Perform functional, regression and exploratory testing of workflows.
• Build and maintain automated test suites in CI/CD pipelines.
• Test API and event-driven architectures, including contracts and error handling.
• Validate asynchronous processes: queues, retries and duplicates.
• Conduct mobile and device testing on real hardware, including offline scenarios.
• Ensure tenant isolation, access control, and data integrity.
• Perform performance, load and resilience testing of critical workflows.
• Report defects, triage issues and verify closure.
• Assess release readiness and provide production quality feedback.
• Create test data and maintain quality documentation.

CENORION is building a scalable technology platform for device financing, control and lifecycle management. We are at the foundation stage of building the platform engineering and product delivery capability, and we are looking for a hands‑on QA Engineer who can own quality across the platform and the devices it controls.

This is a builder role. You will work closely with backend, frontend, mobile, DevOps, architecture, product and security stakeholders to establish the test strategy, automation and release discipline for a customer-facing SaaS platform.

What you will own:

• Test strategy, test plans and coverage across the platform
• Functional, regression and exploratory testing of device financing, control and lifecycle workflows
• Automated test suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines
• API and event‑driven testing, including contracts, validation and error handling
• Asynchronous behaviour: queues, retries, duplicates and out‑of‑order events
• Mobile and device testing on real hardware, including offline and recovery behaviour
• Tenant isolation, access control, audit logging and data integrity verification
• Performance, load and resilience testing of critical workflows
• Defect reporting, triage and verified closure
• Release readiness assessment and production quality feedback
• Test documentation, test data and quality reporting

We are looking for someone with hands‑on QA experience testing production software systems, ideally with exposure to SaaS or customer‑facing platforms.

Relevant experience may include API testing and automation (Postman, REST Assured, pytest, Playwright or similar), SQL, CI/CD pipeline integration, mobile testing on physical devices, queues or event‑driven systems, performance testing, and testing in fintech, telecom or device‑management environments.

This role suits someone who can bring structure without bureaucracy: practical, disciplined, hands‑on, and instinctively drawn to the failure case rather than the happy path.
