Job summary

S K OVERSEAS HR CONSULTANCY is seeking an experienced Welding Inspector for Oil & Gas projects in the UAE. The candidate will conduct daily welding inspections, coordinate with client representatives, and manage NDT requests and PWHT scheduling on site.

Requirements include a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 10 years in welding inspection, ADNOC group exposure, cross-country pipeline experience with large diameter pipes in automatic welding, and certifications AWS/CSWIP 3.1 and ASNT

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years in Welding Inspection for Oil & Gas (Middle East).
• Certified Welding Inspector AWS/CSWIP 3.1; ASNT Level-2.
• Exposure to cross country pipeline projects with large diameter pipes in automatic welding.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily welding inspections and coordinate with Client representative during site visits.
• Prepare and schedule NDT requests including PWHT.
• Establish ITPs, welding procedures, and witness mechanical testing of test specimens.
• Supervise QA/QC for pipelines, hydro/pneumatic testing of spools, and clearance of hydro test packages.
• Prepare final project completion dossier documents.

Job description

Desired Candidate Profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 10-year experience inWelding Inspection related to Oil & Gas projects in Middle East.Previous approval in ADNOC Group or other Oil/Gas Client.Candidates need to possess exposure in cross country pipelineprojects with larger diameter pipes in automatic weldingprocess.Certified Welding Inspector (AWS/CSWIP 3.1)Certified ASNT Level-2.Willing to reside in site project accommodation
