Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi.

Job duration : 6 months extendable

Job location: Das Island

Job Responsibilities

Quality Assurance:

  • Develop and maintain the Project Quality Plan
  • To develop and implement the specific Project Quality Management Plan for the respective project,
  • Promotes safety & quality to all personnel within his organization.
  • Follow up QA Procedures implementation,
  • Conduct the internal audits,
  • Conduct second party audits for sub-contractors as per the Project requirement.
  • Communicate to respective team the QA System and monitor the implementation
  • Identify non-conformances and take preventive and corrective actions,
  • Lead non-conformance investigation with the relevant departments,
  • Promote to the team initiatives related to Quality,
  • Assist in setting Project quality objectives and KPI’s,
  • Assists as necessary the Engineering department in the evaluation and correction of specific quality problems and issues,
  • Manage the continuous Quality training, assessment and human factors of the staff, Maintain the Quality file system,
  • Performs all other duties, tasks and initiatives contributing to the success of the company.

Quality Control:

  • Implement, maintain, and verify quality system at job site as per company quality procedure and project quality plan.
  • Incoming material inspection, review of certification documents and prepare inspection reports.
  • Witness & conduct various electrical & instrumentation testing.
  • Inspection of installation, pre-commissioning & commissioning activities for the project related works
  • Manage the sub-contractor Quality Engineers and Inspections related to subcontract works factory acceptance tests, etc.
  • Third party certification of equipment’s/machinery related to job site.
  • Preparation of inspection reports (RFI, Chack sheets, MCD, PCD and CD).
  • To keep track on the As- builts. Prepare and maintain the As-built register.
  • Review and compilation of inspection documents for final documentation.
Profile
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation / Electrical
  • To be certified as ISO 9001:2015 / Internal or Lead Auditor Certified
  • Previously approved by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC)
