Job summary

Al Tayer Insignia in Dubai seeks a QA Engineer to oversee testing of an omnichannel e-commerce site and its mobile app. You will design test plans, write cases with developers, business analysts and project managers, and verify code against requirements.

You will build automated test suites for the frontend across browsers, perform API and UI automation, and help shape QA standards within an agile SCRUM environment of a luxury retail group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.
• 3+ years of Software QA Automation experience on web and mobile platforms – API automation, app automation, Web automation.
• Exposure to modern web standards and technology.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices with Jenkins and GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Oversee testing of software features as part of a collaborative team.
• Create test plans and strategies and design test cases with developers and analysts.
• Implement automated test suites for the E-commerce Website and Mobile App across browsers.
• Lead quality reviews to ensure conformance to system requirements.
• Define QA coding standards and frameworks for automation efforts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to review requirements and ensure flawless production releases.
