Job summary

Ampstek is seeking an experienced QA Automation / Test Engineer in Dubai to lead testing across Java/Spring Boot and React JS applications. The role focuses on implementing Test Pyramid and Shift-Left strategies, building unit, component, and contract tests, and creating tests for mobile apps using Pact/OpenAPI specifications.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with Playwright, iOS Automation, Espresso, and modern QA tooling.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining unit, component, and contract tests.
• Strong knowledge of Java testing frameworks and modern testing strategies.
• Experience with mobile test automation and API-driven testing approaches.

Responsibilities

• Implement Test Pyramid and Shift-Left Testing strategies.
• Develop and maintain unit, component, and contract tests for applications.
• Create tests using Pact/PactFlow or OpenAPI Specifications for iOS and Android mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain automation using Playwright, iOS Automation, and Espresso.
• Create and review Java Unit/Component Tests using JUnit/NUnit.
• Perform unit and component testing for React JS applications.
• Configure and optimize SonarCloud for effective test and code scanning.
• Develop and maintain Jenkins pipelines and Jenkinsfiles.
• Work with Git, GitLab, and YAML scripting.
• Support Java and Spring Boot development activities.
• Apply QA principles and clearly differentiate between unit, component, and contract testing.
• Work with test management tools such as QMetry, Xray, and JIRA.
• Design and enhance advanced automation frameworks.
