Job summary

T‑Rex Solutions in the United Arab Emirates seeks a senior data governance professional to design and enforce data policies. You will deploy Purview, configure Microsoft 365 services, and manage permissions in the Purview portal, ensuring robust protection of sensitive data.

Candidates should have strong governance, security, and compliance expertise, plus DLP and labeling experience, and be able to coordinate with IT and security teams on risk management and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree with extensive IT experience.
• Citizenship and ability to obtain public trust clearance.
• Hands-on Microsoft Purview administration experience.
• Strong data governance, data security, and compliance knowledge.
• Experience with DLP, data classification, and sensitivity labeling.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 environments and Entra ID.
• Experience with risk assessments and audits.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test data governance and compliance policies, including data classification, labeling, and DLP policies
• Deploy and configure Microsoft Purview and integrated Microsoft 365 services

• Implement information protection and insider risk management solutions
• Manage and support eDiscovery workflows, including data collection, search, and export
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, IT, and security teams to enforce governance best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of progressive IT experience OR Associate's Degree with 10+ years OR 12+ years of equivalent IT experience
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain a public trust clearance
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Purview administration
• Strong understanding of data governance, data security, and compliance principles
• Experience with data loss prevention (DLP), data classification, and sensitivity labeling
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 environments and Microsoft Entra ID
• Experience with risk assessments and audits

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting
• Experience with Treasury or IRS systems
