We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Purchaser to join our dynamic team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Purchaser you will play a crucial role in our procurement department ensuring smooth operations and maintaining strong relationships with vendors while optimizing costs and quality.

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process including preparing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and maintaining accurate records
  • Communicate and negotiate with vendors to obtain competitive quotes and resolve any discrepancies
  • Monitor inventory levels and initiate reorder processes to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather and process purchase requisitions
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery time
  • Prepare and analyze purchasing reports to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures to improve efficiency
  • Manage contracts and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations
  • Stay informed about market trends and identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)
  • 5-10 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related field in the Construction or Infrastructure industry in the UAE
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
