The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager - Vehicular Bridges and Tunnels Maintenance to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the project, ensuring the safety, longevity, and efficiency of our infrastructure.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans for bridge maintenance and repair initiatives
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and government agencies
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful completion within constraints
  • Conduct regular site inspections and assess the condition of bridges to prioritize maintenance needs
  • Implement and oversee safety protocols to ensure compliance with local and international standards
  • Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports to stakeholders and senior management
  • Stay updated on the latest bridge maintenance technologies and best practices
  • Collaborate with local authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals for maintenance activities
  • Mentor and lead project team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Cost control and reporting the revenue and profit to the Management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 12-15 years of experience in bridge maintenance or related infrastructure projects
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale engineering projects
  • Strong knowledge of bridge engineering principles and maintenance practices
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Expertise in using project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera)
  • In-depth understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices
  • Excellent budgeting and cost control skills
  • Strong risk management capabilities
  • Thorough knowledge of infrastructure asset management principles
  • Familiarity with construction and engineering standards in the UAE
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
