Project Manager – Plant Solutions MEA
Overview
Project Manager executes feed, extrusion and Biofuels projects according to Andritz Feed & Biofuel standards, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, quality, and HSE objectives are achieved. The role coordinates cross‑region execution (China, Asia Pacific, Europe) and interfaces with MEA Sales Managers and customers. PM leads the integrated plan from engineering through procurement, manufacturing, delivery, installation, commissioning, handover to Service, and lessons learned. Focus on customer expectations and close co‑operation with the customer throughout the complete project life cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Take an active part in projects from the initial scoping/sales phase to the end of project execution of the Plant solution EPC project deliveries.
- Center of communication between regions (MEA & Africa, China, Asia Pacific, Europe) and internal/external stakeholders during project phases.
- Ensure quality in all work carried out and frequently follow up with the regional project team to ensure progress and alignment.
- Update financial forecasting in the ERP system and prepare status and finance reports for projects.
- Conduct regular project review meetings, risk review meetings and monitoring on‑site installation activities to ensure completion within time and cost parameters.
- Prepare status, finance reports for projects to keep the customer and organization informed throughout the project life cycle.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers to ensure projects meet time scales, quality, and financial targets.
- Serve as a single point of contact; conduct meetings with customers, MoMs, and formal handover of the project and support to Service.
- Lead regional projects, Plant Design, Automation, and coordinate site installation, commissioning and startup.
- Capture lessons learned and update PMO knowledge base; contribute to standard work and templates.
Project Scope Management
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
- Participate in the confirmation of equipment specification for Automation and Service towards the customer.
Project Time Management
- Control and manage progress both internally and externally.
- Follow up with the customer on deliveries during the whole project, incl. site erection, installation and startup.
- Participate in internal project review meetings for status towards the Management team.
- Participate in customer site meetings to closely follow progress and status for optimal customer experience.
Project Cost Management
- Maintain cost in the SAP finance system.
Project Communications Management
- Center for communication, internal and external, in the project phases.
- Customer relations one point of contact.
- Hand over meetings from the sales responsible.
- Kick‑off meetings for the organization (Project team).
- Monitor and report on progress, risks and finance of the project.
Project Risk Management
- Evaluate risk with the project team and initiate actions where needed, involving both the internal organization, suppliers and the customer.
Project Technical Service
- Offer technical consulting services to customers and ensure that our customer technical expectations are fulfilled e.g., participate in design 3D layouts in collaboration with Plant Design Engineers and the customer.
- Evaluate and assess the results of the project with the project team – lessons learned, responsible for project claims.
- Be flexible in switching between different work disciplines if the workload is needed in other areas.

Technical Skills (knowledge)
- Project management principles and EPC plant solution delivery lifecycle.
- Plant engineering knowledge (Mechanical, Electrical, Process); ability to read 3D layouts, PFDs and P&IDs.
- Experience in MS Office – MS Project, SAP; business level written & verbal skills in English.
- Able to understand basic business finance: gross margin percentages, depreciation, capex, opex, cash flow and overheads.
Language
- Professional fluency in English.
- Other language skills (Turkish or Arabic) will be advantageous.
Position – Education & Experience
Minimum: Bachelor’s or Master’s of Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Process / Constructional Engineering or similar.
Desirable: Bachelor’s or Master’s of Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
Experience: Several years of experience in executing EPC Project Management.
Industrial Sector: Mechanical/Process industry know‑how.
Other Requisites – Travel
- Able to travel approximately 40–60 days per year.
