We are looking to hire a positive, proactive IT project manager to oversee project teams and ensure IT projects are completed on time. Ability to create and deliver influential large‑scale project communications with clarity, confidence, and enthusiasm. The Project Manager is responsible for exceeding client expectations through superior implementation and delivery. They oversee small to mid‑size level projects, develop comprehensive project plans and manage project team and stakeholders throughout the complete project life cycle, and manage ongoing customer communication. This role supports the project team in creating project delivery strategies, including project plans, work breakdown structures, and resource management. The role requires the ability to lead and motivate people, encourage teamwork, communicate effectively with senior leadership, and possess a clear vision of what determines a successful solution for the work effort and for the company.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Assist with facilitating communications, scheduling, business requirements/gap analysis, and testing.
- Act as a single point of contact for project communications.
- Manage project resources related to project tasks, risks, and any acceptance criteria and signoffs.
- Confirm that project documentation is delivered with high quality and on time.
- Schedule and facilitate project team meetings along with weekly status reports as needed.
- Coordinate with cross‑disciplined team members to ensure all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
- Meet with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
- Prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
- Establish and enforce effective project communication plans.
- Coordinate the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents to enable successful implementation and turnover to the clients.
- Conduct post‑project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in technical product selection, technical design, and practical implementation of IT solutions.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment.
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle and expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles, able to blend them appropriately.
- 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing large, complex projects in a high‑tech development environment with multi‑function teams.
- Experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies in enterprise‑level application development projects.
- Experience leading multi‑function project teams of at least 10–15 members.
- Strong business/technical background providing credible leadership to development teams and accurate risk assessment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Passionate about continuously improving consumer experiences and leading IT projects following SDLC methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, and Waterfall best practices.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, MS Project, MS Visio, and SharePoint; experience managing projects using SharePoint Lists.
- Certifications such as PMP, CSM, CSPO, A‑CSM, A‑CSPO, ITIL, Six Sigma, SAFe Agilist, RTE, or SPC are preferred.
- Travel flexibility, experience in health solutions industry, and familiarity with ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Jira Align, Miro are a plus.
