Fisher in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced senior project manager to lead and execute civil and construction projects in the oil & gas sector. The role covers planning through completion, coordinating site activities, resources, and stakeholders, while ensuring quality, safety, and contract compliance.

The candidate should hold a Civil Engineering degree with 10+ years in Oil & Gas/EPC projects and have strong exposure to project planning, scheduling, and cost management in a GCC

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, industrial, construction, infrastructure, or related projects.
• Experience in roles like Project Manager, Project Engineer, Construction Manager, Construction Superintendent, Site Manager, or similar project execution role.

Responsabilités

• Support and/or lead the execution of civil and construction projects from planning through completion.
• Coordinate site activities, manpower, materials, subcontractors, and resources.
• Monitor project progress, schedules, quality, HSE, and overall execution.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and other project disciplines.
• Review drawings, technical documents, specifications, and construction requirements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Assist with project planning, progress reporting, cost monitoring, and resource planning.
• Support management of project changes, variations, claims, and contractual requirements where applicable.
• Coordinate procurement and material requirements with relevant teams.
• Support testing, commissioning, punch‑list closure, handover, and project closeout activities where applicable.
• Identify site issues, risks, delays, and required corrective actions.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, and relevant project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, industrial, construction, infrastructure, or related projects.
• Experience in a Project Manager, Project Engineer, Construction Manager, Construction Superintendent, Site Manager, or similar project execution role.
• Strong civil / structural construction experience.
• Exposure to Oil & Gas facilities, pipelines, tanks, utilities, process facilities, industrial buildings, infrastructure, or similar projects is preferred.
• Experience working with EPC contractors, subcontractors, consultants, or major Oil & Gas clients.
• Good understanding of project planning, scheduling, site execution, quality, HSE, and resource coordination.
• Exposure to cost control, contracts, procurement, variations, claims, commissioning, or handover is an advantage.
• UAE / GCC Oil & Gas or EPC experience is preferred.
