Job summary

A leading project management firm in the UAE is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in overseeing large-scale government projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering, relevant project management certifications, and at least 8-10 years of hands-on experience in ELV systems, IP CCTV, and Access Control. Proficiency in both Arabic and English is essential for this role. Responsibilities include developing project plans, managing site activities, and ensuring quality control.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8-10 years hands-on experience overseeing multiple projects in UAE Government Sector.
• Valid UAE Driving license required.
• Experience in ELV Systems, IP CCTV, Access Control.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Applicants should be engineering graduates with a relevant project management certification and extensive regional experience in ELV Systems, IP CCTV, Access Control, etc.
• With minimum 8 - 10 years hands on experience of overseeing multiple, high value, projects simultaneously with UAE Government Sector.
• Arabic & English speaking a must.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
• Will have to develop, project plans and manage multiple projects and maintain proper coordination in all the site activities.
• Will be required to prepare contracts, negotiate revisions, changes and additions to agreement with consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Must be able to set goals, plan and manage projects, manage risks involved, calculate budgets, cost time and teams working on ongoing projects.
• His quality control responsibilities will require him to inspect, review and approve the work for presentation to client.
• The position will also carry a number of management responsibilities with the project team beyond project work. These activities will include consulting with senior management on manpower planning & development and undertaking some business development activities.
• Must hold valid UAE Driving license.
