Job summary

Consat Telematics, based in Dubai, seeks a Project Manager to lead customer telematics projects end-to-end, translating needs into clear development tasks and ensuring successful delivery.

You will liaise between customers and Product & R&D teams, documenting requirements, coordinating technical planning, and guiding hardware/software implementations while maintaining strong stakeholder communication. Must have RTA Public Transport process experience and PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent certifications.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience with processes within the RTA Public Transport Department (mandatory).
• Experience as a technical Project Manager within telematics or public transport.
• Experience in cross-functional product development environments.
• Experience in an agile environment.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into structured plans.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Structured, analytical, and value-driven problem-solving approach.
• Degree in Project Management, Engineering, or related field.
• At least one certification such as PRINCE2 or PMP.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Background in software development or engineering is a plus.

About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will lead and coordinate customer telematics projects, translating customer needs into clearly defined development and implementation tasks and ensuring their successful delivery.

Acting as the link between customers and Product & R&D teams, you will ensure that requirements are well documented, clearly communicated, and efficiently executed.

You will collaborate closely with developers, technical teams, Product Owners, and customer stakeholders to support the implementation of hardware and software solutions tailored to customer needs. The role involves coordinating technical planning, aligning requirements, monitoring project progress, and maintaining direct communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle.

You will also contribute to development planning, workload forecasting, and the continuous improvement of our telematics solutions.

The position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and regular travel may be required for customer meetings.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience working in cross-functional product development environments.

• Experience working in an agile environment.

• Ability to participate in technical discussions and translate complex requirements into structured plans.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• A structured, analytical, and value-driven approach to problem-solving.

• A degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• At least one relevant certification, such as PRINCE2 or PMP.

• Fluency in English; Arabic is considered an advantage.

• A background in software development or engineering is a plus.
