We are currently looking for Project Manager for our UAE operations with the following Skill set and terms & conditions.
Key Responsibilities
ROLE PURPOSE:
Managing IT projects efficiently within scope, budget and on time delivery.
- Improve governance and reduce operational related risks. Leverage lessons learnt from previous and ongoing engagements.
- Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the completion of specific projects for an organization while ensuring these projects are on time, on budget, and within scope.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and document a common understanding of project requirements.
- Manage Projects and Major tasks rollout, coordinate with vendors, business users and other stakeholders to articulate and document business requirements & change requests.
- Manage projects within agreed governance structures and processes, to ensure consistency of approach and efficient use of resources.
- Defining the projects KPIs and measuring them throughout the project lifecycle.
- Determines how changing business needs will affect existing systems.
- Ability to work directly with Business units to develop user requirements and report specifications.
- Articulate and document business requirements for projects, change requests etc.
- Manage vendor service level and quality of development.
- Coordination between project and business teams during the execution of projects and tasks.
- Provide business with required technical support, assessments, and reports.
- Propose technical recommendations and improvements.
- Mitigate risks and close audit points if any on the applications and processes.
- Manage multiple initiatives and track projects/BAU requests/CRs to closure.
- Closely monitor the incidents tickets and problem tickets and close them before the breach of SLA.
- Understand the latest technology trends and provide improvement suggestion in the products.
- Review the vendor proposal and provide feedback on the same to ensure the completeness of the scope and quality.
- Provide periodic reports and monthly updates on the ongoing initiatives to business and PMO.
Key Accountabilities of the role
Track project tasks, schedule plan and delivery timelines.
- Facilitating infrastructure and environment relevant project requests.
- Initiate own and follow up on project internal tickets/actions and approvals until controls.
- Maintain project financials, invoices, timesheets, contracts, and renewals.
- Prepare project status reports or other relevant reports in timely manner.
- Track communication and control project risks and issues until closure.
- Keep close contact with key project stakeholders.
- Document project progress and [Project file, Project Log].
- Ability to work independently and effectively as a team player.
- Vendor relationship management skills are strongly required.
- Accurately and clearly convey timely information appropriate to target audience.
- Strong communication skills including written and oral presentation skills.
