Position Overview

The Project Manager – Piping Fabrication will lead pipe spool fabrication projects from planning through execution and closure, ensuring delivery within approved scope, schedule, and budget. The role requires strategic coordination with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors, proactive risk management, and resolution of technical or operational challenges to achieve project objectives while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, clarify, and communicate project scope to all stakeholders.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and staffing requirements.
• Ensure projects are completed within approved scope, quality, schedule, and budget.
• Establish project milestones and objectives; monitor team performance to achieve goals.
• Track project progress, prepare status reports, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring approvals from authorized personnel.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Assign and supervise project tasks to team members; motivate and guide project personnel.
• Monitor resource allocation and operational efficiency, including manpower planning.
• Review and analyze budget proposals, client/vendor invoices, and financial performance of the project.
• Track project expenditures, including subcontractors, vendors, and consultants.
• Support the development and implementation of departmental, project, and corporate policies and procedures.
• Prepare RFQs, evaluate bids, and assist in final selection of subcontractors as required.
• Ensure compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and QHSSE requirements.
• Conduct lessons‑learned sessions and maintain project documentation for continuous improvement.
• Identify project risks, maintain and update risk registers, and ensure mitigation measures are implemented.
• Achieve or exceed monthly and yearly KPI targets.
• Actively contribute to customer satisfaction by organizing client feedback sessions upon project completion.
• Carry out any other tasks assigned by line management to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Marine, or related Engineering discipline.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of project management experience in piping fabrication, oil & gas, or EPC projects.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong expertise in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
