Responsibilities

• Independently determines project scope, preliminary plan of investigation, and specifications (cost, time, samples) from client input and product data.
• Frequent travel to conduct or witness tests at client sites.
• Communicates with clients to discuss UL procedures, requirements, costs, and completion dates.
• Coordinates laboratory activities by scheduling technicians and reviewing work and deadlines.
• Establishes test programs by reviewing files and manufacturer information and applying UL requirements.
• Notifies clients of non-compliance areas or changes in project scope or specifications.
• Coordinates administrative aspects of project management and reports.
• Resolves engineering issues related to Variation Notices by analyzing acceptability and reporting outcomes.
