Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer – Interior & Fit-Out to support the successful delivery of interior and fit-out projects across the UAE. The role involves site execution, coordination, quality control, and progress monitoring, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and local authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Site Management

• Manage day-to-day site activities for interior and fit-out works, including gypsum partitions, ceilings, flooring, joinery, painting, and finishing works
• Ensure works are executed as per approved shop drawings, specifications, method statements, and BOQs
• Monitor site progress, manpower deployment, and material usage, and prepare daily and weekly progress reports
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Coordinate architectural works with MEP services, ensuring clash-free execution
• Follow up on approvals for materials, samples, and shop drawings
• Ensure all works comply with project quality standards, HSE policies, and UAE regulations
• Conduct site inspections and support QA/QC documentation, inspections, and approvals
• Identify and resolve design discrepancies, site issues, and technical challenges
• Support snagging, de-snagging, testing, commissioning coordination, and final handover
• Assist in preparing look-ahead plans, work programs, and resource schedules
• Assist in identifying variations, preparing site records, and supporting cost control activities

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on UAE experience in interior & fit-out projects
• Proven experience working on UAE project sites with knowledge of local authority requirements and site practices
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Engineering or equivalent
• 3–7 years total experience in interior & fit-out project execution
• Experience in commercial, retail, office, residential, or hospitality fit-out projects within the UAE
• Valid UAE Driving License

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of interior fit-out materials, finishes, and installation methodologies
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, MEP, IFC, and shop drawings
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and basic project planning tools (MS Project / Primavera)
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and authority inspection processes
