Job summary

Yokogawa Abu Dhabi is seeking a diligent automation engineer to support system configuration, panel drawings, and DCS checks on site.

You will collaborate with a global team to ensure safe, reliable plant operations, following standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to prepare system configuration drawings for control systems.
• Experience in designing control room layouts and operator interfaces.
• Understanding grounding schemes and channel base drawings.
• Ability to interpret typical loop drawings for field wiring.
• Experience preparing cabinet general specifications per customer needs.
• Competence in producing panel bill of materials.

Responsibilities

• Verify bill of materials against drawings and specs.
• Check front loading and I/O card loading alignment.
• Validate wire sizes and colour coding per standards.
• Perform standard DCS function checks and validation.
