Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and documentation of job requisitions in alignment with workforce plans and business objectives.
• Guide project management strategies and delivery activities with Section Heads and Project Leads.
• Monitor progress across multiple projects and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Drive communication plans to resolve issues during project completion.
• Manage actual cost vs budget and oversee financial reports for project performance.
• Facilitate change requests and inform stakeholders of schedule and budget impacts.
• Lead compliant project and budget management across multiple projects within budgets.
• Support contractor mitigation plans including execution, procurement, acceleration, and resource allocation.
• Support commercial functions throughout the client lifecycle and troubleshoot issues.
• Prepare user manuals, training materials, and documentation for project implementation and handover.
• Collaborate with sectors to execute technical tasks and assess risks.
• Ensure compliance and quality standards in engineering works.
• Manage client and partner relationships with professionalism.

The Role

This position sits within the real estate arm of a global real estate company operating as a master developer in Dubai. The role covers oversight of multiple projects across the business, with responsibility for project delivery, budget management, compliance, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and documentation of job requisitions in alignment with workforce plans and business objectives, working across departments.
• Guide project management strategies and delivery activities in coordination with Section Heads and Project Leads.
• Monitor progress across multiple concurrent projects and ensure completion aligns with the company's strategic objectives.
• Drive and execute communication plans to resolve issues arising during the project completion phase.
• Manage actual cost versus budget on a periodic basis and oversee financial reports related to project performance.
• Facilitate change requests and ensure all parties are informed of impacts on schedule and budget.
• Lead compliant project and budget management across multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery within assigned budgets.
• Support implementation of contractor mitigation plans, including execution plans, procurement, acceleration programmes, and resource allocation.
• Support the commercial function throughout the client lifecycle and work with stakeholders to plan, execute, and troubleshoot project issues.
• Prepare user manuals, training materials, and other documentation required for project implementation and handover.
• Collaborate with various sectors to execute technical assignments and assess anticipated and unforeseen risks.
• Oversee statutory and regulatory compliance and ensure quality and engineering works meet standard norms and company requirements.
• Manage relationships with clients and partners, including complex situations, with professionalism and problem-solving.
• Provide technical support to the commercial team on project-related matters.
• Consolidate information and reports for management review.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and global best practices in project management and real estate development.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Construction.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• Minimum 12–15 years of experience, including 8 or more years in a senior leadership or project lead role managing large-scale or multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
• 5 or more years of experience with a developer preferred.
• Understanding of industry-specific delivery standards, statutory, regulatory, and quality compliance requirements relevant to project delivery.
• Proficient in MS Office suite including PowerPoint, and Power BI for dashboards and reporting.
• Skilled in Primavera preferred.
• Experience in construction management and project documentation.
• Budget management experience.
• Proficient in risk, issue, and change management.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Effective reporting and presentation skills for senior leadership and board audiences.
• Proficient negotiation abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
