Job summary

Worley in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Project Delivery Systems Coordinator to oversee the implementation and operation of project engineering design systems across the lifecycle. You will coordinate system governance, support users, and ensure workflows align with project and corporate requirements.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic coordination, and robust problem-solving to enable project teams to deliver information in line with customer expectations and Worley standards.

Qualifications

• University degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of relevant experience including supervisory, project management, and/or technical experience.

• Advanced understanding of Octave Smart Plant systems and related tools.

General Purpose of Role

• The Project Delivery Systems Coordinator is responsible for supporting the implementation, administration, integration, and continuous operation of project engineering design systems throughout the project lifecycle. The role acts as the focal point for coordinating project systems, user support, configuration management, reporting, and system-related governance activities.
• The position ensures project teams can effectively utilize approved engineering design systems and workflows to deliver project information in accordance with project, customer, and corporate requirements.
  

Job Responsibilities

• Global Level Summary: Operational managers utilizing in-depth knowledge, advanced problem solving skills and an awareness of Worley priorities to translate strategic direction into tactical plans and implementation activities. Guided by functional practices, management precedents, and professional standards. Decisions are typically of a tactical variety. Able to develop conclusions from analyses and apply results to Worley business operations. Decisions are typically based on extensive business acumen and seasoning.
• Decision Making: Makes independent decisions and sets priorities related to complex situations. Manages smaller projects, or portions of larger projects. Responsible for the daily administration of project related policies and processes in order for the project to meet business objectives.
• Supervision Received: Works with self-initiated interaction with supervisor and self-initiated technical guidance. Influence over duties. Work is assigned only in terms of broad objectives to be accomplished, and is reviewed for policy, soundness of approach and general effectiveness. Work is reviewed to ensure conformity with policy and for coordination of other company departments.
• Supervision Authority: Manages and directs work directly or through supervisors or professionals leading others.
  

Qualifications

• University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Typically 10+ years relevant experience including supervisory, project management and/or technical experience.
• Communication
  • Effectively communicate and take a leadership role in preparing and presenting proposals and reports to staff and management.
  • Ability to persuade and influence others. Ability to recognize and resolve conflict.
• Systems, Processes & Tools
  • Advanced understanding of Octave Smart Plant systems, processes and tools related to field.
  • Able to assist others and troubleshoot issues.
  • May be involved in the development of new systems, processes and tools.
