Job summary

UnitedYou Ventures is seeking a seasoned Project Controls Manager for our onshore EPC oil & gas projects in the UAE. You will oversee cost control, scheduling, risk management, and change management to drive project performance.

The role requires extensive experience in project controls, strong analytical skills, and the ability to mentor a team. ADNOC exposure is preferred and PMP certification is a plus. On-site position with heavy coordination across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in project controls, preferably on onshore ADNOC/ADNOC Offshore projects.
• Proven knowledge of project controls principles, processes and tools.
• Experience with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project or similar tools.
• PMP or related certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project controls strategies and plans for onshore projects including cost and schedule control.
• Monitor progress, identify issues and risks, and develop mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with project controls processes and provide guidance to project teams.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets, schedules and forecasts.
• Manage cost tracking, variance analysis and cost trend reporting.
• Lead risk management activities and change management processes.
• Provide regular project controls reports to senior management and clients.

Position: Project Controls Manager (Onshore Projects)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Controls Manager to join our team and oversee all aspects of project controls for our EPC oil & gas client's onshore projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement project controls strategies and plans for onshore projects, including cost control, schedule control, risk management, and change management
• Monitor project progress and performance, identify potential issues and risks, and develop mitigation plans
• Ensure compliance with project controls processes and procedures, and provide guidance and support to project teams
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop project budgets, schedules, and forecasts
• Manage project cost tracking and reporting, including budget vs. actual analysis, variance analysis, and cost trend analysis
• Lead project risk management activities, including identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks
• Oversee project change management process, including review and approval of change requests
• Provide regular project controls reports to senior management and clients, highlighting project status, risks, and opportunities
• Mentor and train project controls team members, and provide guidance on best practices and industry standards
• Continuously improve project controls processes and procedures to enhance project performance and efficiency

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field
• Minimum of 15+years of experience in project controls, preferably in ADNOConshore projects
• Strong knowledge of project controls principles, processes, and tools
• Experience with project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• PMP or other project management certifications are a plus
• Candidates with ADNOC experience will be given preference.
