Role Context
The Program Manager Intern will join one of Amazon’s business intelligence, retail, vendor services, seller services, or operations teams. The internship provides structured exposure to Amazon’s business models, internal processes, analytical methods, and customer‑focused decision‑making. Working with an assigned mentor, the intern will take ownership of a real business project and support activities that improve processes, partner performance, operational efficiency or customer experience. The program is designed to help participants build practical skills while contributing measurable value to the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of a defined business, retail, operations, or seller‑services project.
- Analyze business data to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with the development of reports, dashboards, presentations and business recommendations.
- Work with retail, vendor, seller, operations and business intelligence teams.
- Help evaluate existing processes and recommend simpler or more efficient approaches.
- Coordinate project activities, actions, deadlines, and stakeholder inputs.
- Participate in meetings with internal teams and contribute clearly prepared updates.
- Gather and organize information required for business decisions and project delivery.
- Support retail vendor management, seller services, customer experience, or operational initiatives.
- Prepare structured written documents and presentations for project stakeholders.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, risks and expected business outcomes.
- Apply analytical thinking to practical commercial and operational challenges.
- Use feedback from mentors and team members to improve work quality.
- Engage with Amazonians across different functions to broaden business understanding.
- Participate in intern events, leadership sessions, speaker series and development activities.

Ideal Profile
- Currently enrolled in or expected to receive a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- Expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2028.
- Studying Business Administration, Management, Economics, E‑commerce, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Available to begin an internship between January and December 2026.
- Able to complete a full‑time internship lasting 3 to 6 months.
- Available to work approximately 40 hours per week.
- Fluent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong interest in e‑commerce, retail, business intelligence, seller services or operations.
- Good analytical thinking and willingness to work with data.
- Ability to organize tasks, meet deadlines, and take ownership of project work.
- Confidence working independently while contributing effectively to a team.
