Job summary

Avanta Works in Abu Dhabi seeks a skilled Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate and maintain production machinery (lathes, mills, grinders, drills), monitor performance, and ensure products meet specifications.

We welcome applicants with at least 2 years of experience, who can read blueprints, use precision measuring tools, and work independently. Accommodation is provided for non-local candidates; fluent English is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Machine Operator in a production setting.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Proven ability to work independently and take initiative when needed.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Biometric passport preferred for ease of travel.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production machinery, including lathe, mills, grinders and drills.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as needed.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure specifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues during operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times.
