Qualifications

We are hiring an experienced Production Engineer Steel Structure with a strong background in steel fabrication and a minimum of 10 years of hands‑on UAE experience. The ideal candidate will manage and optimize production operations ensuring high‑quality output, cost‑efficiency and timely project delivery in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily steel fabrication and welding operations in the production facility.
• Ensure production is carried out as per approved engineering drawings and client specifications.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, procurement, design and project teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Review and interpret structural steel fabrication drawings, BOQs and welding procedures.
• Plan manpower, machines and materials for efficient shop floor operations.
• Monitor productivity and quality output, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies and UAE labor laws.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide technical training to workers.
• Maintain production documentation including daily reports, NCRs and inspection records.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of production systems and processes.

Additional Information

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 10 years of UAE-based experience in structural steel fabrication and production.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication and welding codes (AWS, BS, AISC, etc.).
• Proven leadership in managing workshop teams and handling large-scale steel projects.
• Proficient in reading structural drawings and using production software/ERP systems.
• Excellent organizational, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Familiar with UAE safety and labor regulations.
