Job description

Careem is building the Everything App for the greater Middle East — making it easy to move around, order food and groceries, manage payments, and more. Our purpose is simple: to simplify and improve people’s lives and build an awesome organisation that inspires.

Since 2012, Careem has enabled earnings for over 2.5 million Captains, simplified the lives of more than 70 million customers, and built a platform where the region’s best talent and entrepreneurs thrive. We operate in 70+ cities across 10 countries, from Morocco to Pakistan.

We’re now entering our next chapter — one powered by AI. We’re looking for AI talent: curious problem‑solvers who know how to apply AI to build tools, automate workflows, and create real impact. Whether it’s streamlining operations, enhancing customer experience, or reimagining internal systems — we want people who can make Careem work smarter and move faster.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Product Manager to build the next-generation fulfillment brain for Careem’s deliveries. You’ll own how orders are pooled, batched, and fulfilled — across fleets, verticals, and cities. Your mission: enable fast, efficient, and reliable deliveries by optimizing every fulfillment decision from planning to execution.

What You’ll Do
  • Strategy & Vision: Define the long-term strategy for batching, pooling, and complex‑delivery fulfillment — aligning product direction with marketplace growth and efficiency goals.
  • Research & Analysis: Use data, experimentation, and market insights to uncover operational bottlenecks, user pain points, and optimization opportunities in fulfillment and fleet utilization.
  • Product Development Lifecycle: Lead end-to-end product delivery — from ideation, requirements, and design to testing, rollout, and post‑launch iteration.
  • Optimization: Improve efficiency, cost, and speed by evolving batch creation logic, pooling algorithms, and dispatch sequencing for complex or multi‑leg deliveries.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner cross‑functionally with Engineering, Data Science, and Operations to design and implement scalable fulfillment systems.
  • Roadmapping & Prioritization: Maintain a clear roadmap, balancing customer experience, operational efficiency, and technical feasibility.
  • Performance Tracking: Define and monitor key metrics (eg, batching efficiency, pooling delay %, dispatch time, OPH, and CPO).
  • Problem‑Solving: Anticipate and resolve technical or operational challenges to ensure robust rollout and adoption across markets and verticals.
What You’ll Bring
  • 4+ years in Product Management in logistics, delivery, or high‑scale marketplaces.
  • Strong analytical and systems thinking — able to model trade‑offs and drive data‑backed decisions.
  • Experience collaborating with Data Science and Engineering on optimization, routing, or matching systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment skills.
  • A track record of shipping impactful products in complex, cross‑functional environments.
Nice to Have
  • Background in operations research, optimization, or applied data science.
  • Experience in multi‑modal fulfillment or ML‑driven product systems (e.g., Solver, routing, cost functions).

Familiarity with fulfillment orchestration or shipment planning platforms.
