Procurement Specialist – Job Responsibilities

1. Sourcing & Vendor Management
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
  • Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
2. Purchasing & Order Management
  • Prepare and process purchase orders for goods and services.

3. Cost Control & Budgeting
  • Monitor and manage procurement budgets.
  • Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure procurement is cost-effective and meets company goals.
4. Inventory Coordination
  • Collaborate with inventory and warehouse teams to maintain stock levels.
  • Avoid overstocking or stockouts through demand forecasting.
5. Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery details.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Handle documentation for imports / exports if needed.
