Hiring: Procurement Controller
Location: UAE
Salary: AED 7,000 - 8,000 pm
We are looking for a detail driven Procurement Controller to strengthen procurement governance, data accuracy, and process compliance. This role focuses on reviewing procurement transactions, supporting supplier onboarding, monitoring procurement data, and coordinating internal initiatives that improve overall procurement effectiveness.
What You’ll Be Doing
Procurement Governance & Controls
- Review tail end procurement transactions to ensure compliance with policies and Delegation of Authority.
- Identify risks, gaps, and process deviations, and guide users on corrective actions.
- Provide hands on support and training to improve compliance and data quality.
- Support continuous improvement of procurement controls and governance.
Supplier Registration & Master Data
- Support supplier onboarding and registration processes.
- Review supplier documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Act as a point of contact for internal teams and suppliers to resolve registration issues.
- Monitor supplier registration timelines and improve data accuracy.
Data Quality & Reporting
- Monitor procurement reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Perform regular data checks and follow up on inconsistencies.
- Maintain strong controls over procurement master and transactional data.
KPI Monitoring & Performance Support
- Review procurement KPIs on a periodic basis.
- Support analysis of trends, exceptions, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare clear inputs for procurement performance reporting.
Project & Initiative Coordination
- Coordinate key procurement initiatives and internal projects.
- Track actions, timelines, and deliverables across teams.
- Support change management and adoption of new processes or tools.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in procurement operations, governance, or control roles.
- Strong understanding of P2P processes and procurement governance.
- Experience with ERP or P2P systems such as SAP, Oracle, Coupa, or Ariba.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- CIPS or similar certification is an advantage.
