Our client is seeking an experienced Process Technologist to join their growing manufacturing operations in the UAE. This is a newly created leadership position where you will establish and lead a department focused on process optimization, quality control, and continuous improvement. You will be the first line of defense when it comes to troubleshooting equipment, resolving process deviations, and ensuring consistent product quality. The role is highly hands‑on, requiring both technical expertise and the ability to build and inspire a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and maintain product and process specifications, SOPs, and control charts.
  • Monitor and optimize production processes (temperature, flow, pressure, etc.).
  • Lead Root Cause Analyses (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct quality checks and audits to ensure compliance with international standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and support lean manufacturing.
  • Build and manage a 6–7 person technical team to provide 24/7 production support.
  • Collaborate across Production, QC, Maintenance, and Engineering to align objectives.
  • Ensure HSE compliance and promote a culture of safety and excellence.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (Master’s is a plus).
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or related certifications are an advantage.
  • Experience 8+ years in manufacturing (automotive, polymer, textile, or chemical industries preferred).
  • Proven background in process optimization, quality control, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with change management and organizational transformation.
  • Familiarity with PE/PP yarn or textile production is highly advantageous.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in process control systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA).
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and thermodynamic systems.
  • Advanced Excel and ERP (SAP/Business Central).
  • Skilled in data‑driven decision‑making and production analytics.

  • Strong leadership with the ability to inspire and mentor teams.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
