Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a qualified engineer in Dubai specializing in the design of water and wastewater treatment plants. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience including management of junior engineers, review of designs and materials, and involvement in tender preparation. A BSc in Chemical Engineering is required, with an MSc being a plus. The role does not allow for remote work and is a full-time position.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in design of domestic and industrial wastewater treatment plants.
• Experience in sludge dewatering, drying, treatment facilities, and odour control units.

Responsibilities

• Design water and wastewater treatment plants and odour control units.
• Review process design and material submittals.
• Manage junior engineers and participate in tender preparation.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Design of water and wastewater treatment plants sludge treatment facilities and odour control units
• Review process design submittals
• Review material submittals related to process
• Participate in tender preparation
• Travel across GCC and middle east (when needed) for meetings site visits inspections etc.
• Manage junior engineers

Qualifications

• BSc. in Chemical Engineering MSC. in Chemical Engineering is a plus.
• 10 Years of experience in the design of the following:
  • Domestic wastewater treatment plants
  • Industrial wastewater treatment plants
  • Desalination plants
  • Sludge dewatering drying and treatment facilities
  • Odour control units
• Experience in running Biowin Model
• Experience in running RO membrane projections using any of the available software
