Job summary

ADASI in Abu Dhabi invites a Principal Software Engineer – Ground Control Station (GCS) to join our aerospace team. You will lead embedded software efforts, architect robust C/C++ solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on UAV/GCS programs.

You should bring strong RTOS experience, hardware/software integration skills, and a background in aerospace, defence, or related fields to ensure safety-critical development and high-assurance capabilities in our ground control systems.

Qualifications

• Strong embedded software development experience.
• Expert in C/C++.
• Experience with Ground Control Station (GCS) software and Flight Control Systems (FCS).
• Hardware/Software integration experience.
• RTOS experience (FreeRTOS, VxWorks, etc.).
• Aerospace, UAV, or Defence background preferred.
• Exposure to safety-critical development (DO-178C preferred).
