Role

Our Strategic Consulting business is looking for Principal Infrastructure Transformation Consultants to develop and write business advice from strategy to execution to help solve our clients’ most complex business challenges.

Jacobs’ Strategic Consulting team provides strategic advisory in all phases of the business life cycle, informed by our operational knowledge and deep functional expertise. By integrating strategic and technical expertise, we support the full spectrum of client functions from executive leadership project delivery and operations.

The selected candidate must have excellent team‑player attitude, with ability to consistently demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, mutual respect and accountability to others. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead delivery of defined project workstreams within larger assignments.
  • Manage client interactions, ensuring outputs are clear, timely, and of high quality.
  • Structure and oversee analysis, research, and development of recommendations.
  • Mentor and support junior consultants, contributing to team capability building.
  • Contribute to development of methodologies, proposals, and business growth.
  • Translate technical engineering concepts into strategic business opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision‑makers.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to bring innovative concepts to life.
  • Present complex strategies to executive‑level audience.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience with minimum 3 years in management consulting (essential).
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, business, or related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategies.
  • Ability to translate between technical and business domains and across industries.
  • Experience in infrastructure, capital projects, strategic transformation, or innovation (desirable).
