WSP Middle East is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Principal Consultant with a specialized background in façade design to join our Property and Building Business Unit in Sharjah, UAE. The successful candidate will lead façade design projects, ensuring innovative, sustainable, and high-quality solutions that meet client requirements and exceed industry standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the facade projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and innovative facade solutions for property and building projects.
  • Plan and lead all phases of facade design, from conceptualization through detailed design to construction.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate facade systems seamlessly into overall building designs.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, standards, and regulations specific to the Middle East region.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and engineers.
  • Lead discussions with clients to understand their project requirements and deliver design solutions that meet their expectations.
  • Prepare and present design proposals, technical reports, and project documentation.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
  • Strong commercial background, leading commercial prospects and
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in facade design and construction.
  • Understand the basics of structural engineering and building physics.
  • Experience with computational design is a plus.
