Qualifications

• Medical degree and successful completion of a residency and internship.

Responsibilities

• Examining patients, taking medical histories, addressing patients' concerns, and answering questions.
• Diagnosing and treating injuries, illnesses, and disorders.
• Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests and explaining results to patients.
• Counseling patients on diet, hygiene, preventative healthcare, and lifestyle changes.
• Updating patients' charts to reflect current findings and treatments.
• Designing and implementing treatment plans.
• Prescribing medications or therapies.
• Explaining medical procedures to patients.
• Collaborating with other physicians and healthcare staff when necessary, and referring to specialists when needed.
