Job summary

Flip retail in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a skilled Shuttering Carpenter & Steel Fixer to install foundations, walls, floors, ceilings and roofs using wood, steel, concrete and composites. The role requires reading plans, precise measurements, and on-site material preparation.

Candidates should have at least 3 years’ experience as a Shuttering Woodworker and/or Steel Fixer, with proficiency in basic hand tools.

Qualifications

• Woodworking degree required.
• Shuttering Woodworker: 3 years experience required.
• Steel Fixer: 3 years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using wood, steel, concrete, plastics, and related compounds.
• Fit and install window frames, doors, door structures, and trim on interior/exterior surfaces.
• Set up scaffolding and ladders for framework installation on ground levels.
• Study plans to prepare job format and determine materials required.
• Operate hand tools, machines, or power saws to cut materials to size.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean, safe job site.
• Inspect and repair or replace damaged components using hand tools.
• Assemble and fasten materials to form structures or props with appropriate hardware.
