• Proven experience as a painter or in a similar role with a strong portfolio or track record of high-quality work.
• Solid knowledge of painting techniques, materials and equipment.
• Ability to identify and solve issues related to surface preparation, paint application and finishing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work meticulously to ensure flawless results.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Knowledge of safety practices and the ability to comply with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by thoroughly cleaning, sanding and priming to ensure adhesion and finish quality.
• Evaluate surfaces to determine appropriate preparation techniques and materials.
• Apply paints, coatings and finishes using spray guns, brushes and rollers.
• Follow precise techniques for each project to achieve a high-quality finish.
• Inspect finished products for defects and perform touch-ups as needed.
• Maintain and troubleshoot painting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE such as respirators, gloves and goggles.
• Collaborate with production team to meet project deadlines.
• Communicate progress and raise issues to management.
