Job summary

Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning power tools and small machinery to identify root electrical or mechanical failures.
Replace or repair faulty electrical components such as carbon brushes, switches, power cords, armatures, field coils, battery contacts, and basic circuit boards.
Disassemble tools to repair or swap worn mechanical parts like gears, bearings, chucks, pistons, drive belts and housings.
Service and rebuild small hydraulic tools and equipment, including seals, O-rings and valves; bleed lines as needed.
Clean, lubricate, calibrate, and perform preventative maintenance to extend tool life and reduce downtime.
Operate testing equipment (multimeters, load testers, pressure gauges) to ensure safety and performance specifications are met.
