About the job POWER BI CONSULTANT

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Consultant to develop a suite of Power BI reports by connecting to our Microsoft Dynamics Data Warehouse. This role involves understanding our business requirements, designing and developing insightful dashboards, and transferring knowledge to our internal team through hands‑on training and documentation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization, Microsoft BI stack, and experience working with Dynamics 365 data structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Connect Power BI to our Microsoft Dynamics Data Warehouse and ensure secure, optimized data integration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and define KPIs.
• Design, build, and deploy interactive and visually compelling Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Implement best practices for data modeling, report performance, and governance.
• Conduct knowledge transfer and training sessions for the internal team to enable ongoing report maintenance and development.
• Prepare documentation for developed reports, data models, and workflows.
• Provide recommendations for improving data quality, reporting efficiency, and visualization standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Power BI report development and data modeling.
• Proven experience connecting Power BI with Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Dynamics Data Warehouse.
• Strong understanding of DAX, Power Query (M language), and ETL concepts.
• Experience in data warehouse design, SQL, and Microsoft BI stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) is a plus.
• Ability to translate business needs into effective visual solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly in training non-technical users.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Power Automate and Power Apps integration.
• Knowledge of Azure Data Services (Azure Synapse, Data Factory).
• Familiarity with data governance and security best practices in Power BI.
