The University of Sharjah's Research Institute of Medical and Health Sciences (RIMHS) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the Space Medicine Research Group. The role focuses on analyzing multi-omics data (genomics, transcriptomics, epigenetics) from mouse models under simulated microgravity and public databases.

Qualifications

• PhD in biomedical science with 1–3 years of OMICs data experience.
• Lead author publication in bioinformatics preferred.
• Experience with murine models and in vivo experiments desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret OMICs datasets; conduct bioinformatics analysis.
• Develop private and public biological genomic and proteomic databases.
• Conceptualize research projects and draft manuscripts.
• Maintain and handle laboratory mice and perform related in vivo experiments.
• Maintain laboratory logbooks and order reagents and prepare lab reports.
• Supervise graduate and undergraduate students and research assistants.
• Present ongoing work and findings to colleagues.
