Overview

The Division of Engineering (Civil & Urban Engineering) seeks to recruit a Postdoctoral Associate to work on a broader field of geotechnical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project aimed at enhancing the state in designing and managing efficient and environmentfriendly infrastructure and energy systems.
• Work in a multidisciplinary environment consisting of researchers, graduate students, and undergraduate students.
• Continuously document research progress in the form of scientific publications to be submitted to reputable journals.

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications: A PhD in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field with a focus on one or more of the following:
• Artificial intelligence applications in geotechnical engineering
• Bioremediation and geoenvironmental engineering
• Geohazards risk assessment and management via remote sensing
• Energy geotechnics
• Advanced experimental testing and field instrumentation
