Overview

Post‑Doctoral Associate at the Communication Theory and Technologies (CT&T) Research Group, Division of Engineering, New York University Abu Dhabi. Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Murat Uysal, the role involves cutting‑edge research on the physical layer design of wireless communication systems and exploring enabling technologies for 6G and beyond.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out research on physical layer design of wireless communication systems.
  • Explore enabling technologies for 6G and beyond wireless networks.
Qualifications
  • PhD in electrical/electronics engineering, telecommunications or related field.
  • Strong background in communication theory, signal processing and wireless communications.
  • Extensive experience in physical (PHY) layer algorithm design and performance analysis.
  • Proven track record of publications in IEEE journals and conferences.
  • Strong verbal and written skills in English.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills and capacity to pursue independent research.
Preferred Research Experience
  • Waveform design for emerging spectrum (FR3 MMW, sub‑THz/THz).
  • Extreme massive MIMO communications.
  • Analog, digital and hybrid beamforming architectures.
  • Reconfigurable intelligent surfaces.
  • Machine learning for wireless communications.
  • Hardware‑constrained signal processing for wireless communications.
  • Channel modeling and characterization.
